Melissa:
And...I thought I posted this. *head desk*
I'm sorry for my addle brain these days. I'm thinking I have to many irons in the fire and I'm not sure which ones are red hot, ready to remove. Ugh.
So the month started slow. I was getting caught up with real world, mundane life things. Things seemed to be coming into line. Then, my grandma took a turn for the worse. We knew the day was nearing but you never know when that day will be. And you are never truly ready for it. Watching someone dwindle away is hard. We visited and spent time with her. And we spent time together as a family for the funeral.
As you can probably guess, I really didn't get any words or re-writes in. That happens. I did start pulling information for re-writes and had a new idea come to mind that would add a new layer to my current WIP. I got to chat it over with a dear author friend who helped me bring it to life in my mind. Now to add the hints, worries, and result to the story in re-writes.
That works for me. :)
So we move forward. And, as if there's not enough to do in life, I decided to jump into Camp NaNoWriMo. Yep. I signed up. I found that if I sign up for minutes, I can set it so I'll work on my project 30 minutes a day. Which is what I want with life happening around me.
I'm in. Here's to April camp fires at Camp NaNoWriMo.
